Musicians:

Friends, heroes and inspirations...

Peter Ross - Shakuhachi Flute artist of San Miguel de Allende, and the west's only maker of Shakuhachis.

Govi - flamenco nouveau / new age / crossover guitarist, one of the guitarists who has inspired us.

Muriel Anderson - one of the fingerstyle / classical crossover greats, protegé of both Christopher Parkening and Chet Atkins.
Our Performance Schedule:
We email you a monthly update on our schedule, plus notices about special events, concerts and CD releases.

Jack and Frances live and play in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. They perform regularly in SMA, and also run an educational program called Guitar Vacation Retreats.
Michael Chapdelaine - great classical guitarist in the Segovia / Parkening mold who also won the Winfield Fingerstyle Championship, and has a killer solo guitar arrangement of Wipeout (!!??) - plus holding down a university professor's chair.

George Pepper - "contempory classical" guitarist up in San Antonio, an honest working musician like us. George's blog muses on music theory, music history, and other arcana.

Hopalong - aka Jose Luis Chagoyan, one of San Miguel de Allende's most prolific and versatile musicians.

Gil and Cartas - Gil Gutierrez, guitarist extraordinaire, and Pedro Cartas, violinist and former concertmaster of the Cuban Radio and Television Orchestra, are one of San Miguel de Allende's great local success stories. Now often on tour with Doc Severinsen.

Marc Silber - voice of the blues. A living history of the golden age of Greenwich Village folk music.

Liona Boyd - Canada's famous guitarist, who lived in San Miguel de Allende as a teen and still visits now and then.

Steven King - do we have to mention, "the guitarist", not the writer?

Estéban Bello - a wonderful, versatile, classical / flamenco / jazz / crossover guitarist who also sings romantic love songs in five or six languages.

Matthew Montfort - scalloped fretboard player and author of one of our favorite books, Ancient Traditions - Future Possibilities: Rhythmic Training Through the Traditions of Africa, Bali and India
